Spider Pom Pom, Anyone?
Spiders are rarely welcomed into our homes; in fact, they can be creepy crawly. However, their popularity certainly boosts as the Halloween season approaches. The best kind of spiders? Definitely the cute fuzzy ones! With their googly eyes, these friendly pom pom spiders are certain to win the adoration of all family and friends. How to use the Spider Pom Pom
Now that we are in the month of October, it is time to finally decorate the house and of course dress up your clothes for Halloween. But most people don’t have much time to do a lot of decorating or dressing up. Well, that is kind of the story of my life.
Making something that takes almost no time at all, would be ideal for anyone, so I came up with the idea of making a cute spider pom pom to add to my beanies and clothes. And of course they are also perfect all around the house as decoration.
These spider pom pom are so easy to make and do not require a lot of materials to make them. You can make your spider pom pom with yarn and pipe cleaners. I have below listed the exact items I used, so you can replicate the spider pom pom’s I made.

So let’s get started with making the awesome and cute looking spider pom pom’s. I used the large pom pom maker of a set of 4 I bought. Feel free to make little one’s as well or tie and glue them all together to make a giant spider using pom pom’s.
Materials (click on the names to see how it looks like):
Instructions:
1. First, you will collect all you materials and start making the pom pom using worsted weighted black yarn. Feel free to use other yarn or colors, but you be aware that the pom pom will look different, especially when you use different weighted yarn, such as bulky.
2. Once you have given your pom pom a haircut, spread the yarn you used to tie up the pom pom and add some hot glue. Also take 4 pipe cleaners and twist them right in the middle together, like the picture shows below.
3. Next, you will lay the twisted pipe cleaners on top of the hot glue and tie them up using the yarn strings that you used to tie off the pom pom.
4. Finally, you will add the eyes you like to your pom pom that will now turn into a spider pom pom. You can use the spider pom pom for whatever you want, whether it is to decorate your house, your yard or your clothes.
I used my spider pom pom’s for a hat. Check it out HERE how that looks like. My son sure loves his new Spider Pom Pom Hat.
