In order to make washcloths, dishcloths, pot holders o anything else using cotton, you need a great and soft yarn to work with. This review focuses on the best cotton yarn mentioned in the Crafty Crochet Review Show.
I love crocheting gifts for friends and family. Personally, my favorites are spa kits as a gift basket. I buy my favorite soaps and bathroom items and add them to a beautiful basket. Then I add some flowers – sometimes even crocheted, so they last longer. And last but not least some crocheted washcloths. But here is the thing. I’m very picky about fabric and materials. They must be soft to crochet with and to touch for usage. So a washcloth must be made with very soft cotton yarn. Dishie Yarn, made by WeCrochet, is the perfect yarn for that.
Yes, there is a lot of different types of cotton yarn on the market. Thick and thin. From many different brands. BUT not all of them are soft. In fact, I never used softer and easier to work with cotton yarn than Dishie Cotton Yarn.
But the amazing thing about this cotton yarn is you can use it for so many different patterns. It’s worsted weighted yarn and therefore works up fairly quickly. They have many different colors available, too. I even made my most popular crochet pattern with it: a Cotton Bowl Cozy.
To make it easier I created a complete video review about this amazing Cotton yarn – through the Crafty Crochet Review Show which is held every Friday at 12pm, PST on Youtube. You can sign up here for reminder emails.
