Crocheters need awesome worsted weighted yarn for different crochet patterns. Mighty Stitch is the perfect yarn for all your projects. This review focuses on the best acrylic yarn mentioned in the Crafty Crochet Review Show.
If there is one thing I get asked a lot, it is “which yarn is the perfect every day yarn for almost any project?” The short answer is worsted weighted yarn. The long answer, on the other hand, is Mighty Stitch yarn which comes in different weights and truly works up nicely and is my go-to yarn for any project. I used to use Brava yarn all the time, which also is an amazing worsted weighted yarn, but then I was introduced to Mighty Stitch yarn which has a shine to it and is just a bit softer than Brava yarn.
However, it is to note that Mighty Stitch yarn is not 100% acrylic, but actually only 80% acrylic and 20% wool. So if you want a true 100% acrylic yarn then Brava yarn will likely be your go-to choice. Especially if you are allergic to wool. But if you aren’t, and would like some extra softness on your hand, I would highly recommend you try Mighty Stitch yarn.
Either yarn can be used for a lot of different patterns. I love using it for quick projects, such as hats, scarves and home decor or bags. But you can, of course, use both of them for blankets and garments as well.
To make it easier I created a complete video review about this amazing acrylic yarn – through the Crafty Crochet Review Show which is held every Friday at 12pm, PST on Youtube. You can sign up here for reminder emails.
