This free crochet pattern is called the Linked Crochet Washcloth and features the Linked Treble Crochet.
If you are a beginner in crochet and just want to learn a new stitch or have a small challenge, this for sure is a great project for you.

However, even as a more experienced crocheter you will want to crochet this Linked Crochet Washcloth as it makes a great addition to any home or even have it be part of a stunning gift set.
Also, when I use non-linked crochet stitches and use the washcloths, I always feel like they stretch out too much. When they are wet with water, you want the stitches to stay together so you can actually use it to wash yourself without having holes in it.
And of course, you can use this stunning washcloth also as a dishcloth. Although they have a different name, they have the same purpose; aiding you to wash something whether it is your body or your dishes.
The Linked Treble Crochet looks like 3 rows of single crochets with horizontal bars, but are actually treble crochet stitches that are literally linked together as you crochet.
If you have never tried this stitch before you should learn how to. I have created a very lengthy photo and video tutorial how to crochet this incredible that makes you feel like you are crocheting Tunisian crochet stitches. Find the tutorial HERE.
If you feel like you want to try the Linked Double Crochet before starting the Linked Treble Crochet Stitch, you should try it. I have a tutorial for it HERE as well.
I actually used the Linked Double Crochet for another wonderful pattern that is very popular due to its yarn color variegation.
Would you like to learn even more advanced and special stitches? I have a whole collection of them. Some are actually very unique and not well known. Knowing them will for sure impress other crocheters when you use them.
