A scarf can be used than just to keep you warm. It can also look elegant and make you feel like the most beautiful person on the planet. This Easy Boomerang Scarf does that for me!
I was lucky enough that I was able to attend Creativation in Phoenix in 2019 and talk to the amazing staff at the Lion Brand booth. While I was there they gave me 3 gorgeous skeins of the new yarn called Beautiful You.
This yarn has the most amazing bold colors and has a cord-like texture with s-twisted strands. It actually makes it easy to work with even though it’s a weight 2 yarn.

Instructions:
This pattern follows a 10-row repeat with colors changes every 5th row. To make the repeat easier to write out and understandable, I will call chains and chain spaces as stitches. I also did not use a Ch3 as a turning chain, but instead used the Alternative Turning chain as the first counted stitch every row.
First, I started with color Lilac Chiffon, then I switched to Magenta Haze and then to Zinfandel. I repeated these color changes for 7 sets (total of 21 stripes each having 5 rows).
Ch 9
R1: [1 ATC, 2 dc] in 2nd ch from hook, 1 dc in each st until last 2 sts, 1 dc
R2: [1 ATC and 1 dc] as dec, dc in each st until last st, 3 dc in the same st, turn
R3: repeat R1
R4: repeat R2
R5: [ATC, ch1, 1 dc] in the same st, *sk 1 st, ch 1, 1 dc in the next st, repeat from * until the last 2 sts, 1 dc dec, turn
R6: repeat R2
R7: repeat R1
R8: repeat R2
R9: repeat R1
R10: [1 ATC and 1 dc] as dec, * sk 1 sts, ch 1, 1 dc in the next st, repeat from * until the last st, [ch 1, 2 dc] in the same st, turn
Now repeat rows 1 through 10 until you have 105 rows having changed colors every 5th row.
Fasten off and weave in all the ends.
