Learn how to sew anti-slip bottoms to crochet slippers, shoes, socks, and booties. These suede anti-slip bottoms were mentioned in the Crafty Crochet Review Show.
It’s weekend, and I love wearing cozy slippers in the morning when it’s still cold. The house is quiet as everyone is still asleep whereas I’m sitting on my couch sipping on my coffee. I get up to get my crochet project and almost fall. I have hardwood floors and they sure are not preventing me from getting hurt. I need anti-slip bottoms on my cozy booties. Like now.
Luckily, WeCrochet sent me some suede anti-slip bottoms which I can sew on easily to my slippers to prevent me from slipping on hardwood or tile floors. The package comes with two sets of a 2-piece bottom. So you get 2 suede heels bottoms and 2 foot soles bottoms.
You can pretty much use any stitch you like to sew them on. But I prefer either the whip stitch or the blanket stitch.
To make it easier I created a complete video review and tutorial on how to sew on anti-slip bottoms to your crochet – through the Crafty Crochet Review Show which is held every Friday at 12pm, PST on Youtube. You can sign up here for reminder emails.
