Learn how to add fabric paint to your crochet to style it, make it unique or create anti-slip bottoms for slippers and shoes. This Tulip Neon and Glow in the Dark Fabric Paint was mentioned in the Crafty Crochet Review Show.

Crocheting is so fun. Sometimes I even like sewing. I prefer sewing with a sewing machine, but by hand is good too. But to really spice up your crochet project, you can simply use fabric paint. You can make special pictures, add words or design whatever you like and paint it onto it. I would say it would be best for backpacks, hats, scarves, gloves, blankets, and even slippers.

Fabric paint is ideal for anti-slip for slipper bottoms. You can write funny phrases and even paint things to make them glow in the dark.

I’m pretty sure any child would love a specialized crochet designer made by you. But adults would also love on the bottom of the slippers phrase like “If you can read this, bring me yarn”. LOL

I tested out the fabric paint and it takes at least 4 hours to dry. If you add more paint the drying times will take longer, up to 24 hrs. You can, if you wish to add more paint on dried paint and it will work fine without falling off.

To make it easier I created a complete video review and tutorial on how to add fabric paint to your crochet – through the Crafty Crochet Review Show which is held every Friday at 12pm, PST on Youtube. You can sign up here for reminder emails.
