The Knit-Like Crochet Pouch is a free crochet pattern and made using the waistcoat stitch in 2 different colored yarn skeins.
It was the beginning of 2017, shortly after I published my website, started making crochet patterns, and began my journey to teach and serve as many crocheters in the world as I can. It was then when I started exploring video tutorials and to teach how to crochet in more detail. I published a video that was far from perfect but it went viral. For a just beginner, over 1M in reach for a video on Facebook, that was HUGE! The video I’m talking about was my waistcoat stitch tutorial.
During that time many crocheters wanted the pouch that matches the tutorial. Well, I was so busy during that time, that I couldn’t finish it. And then forgot about it. Until now, after 3 years, it fell into my hands while organizing my finished projects. So it’s finally time to release this so wanted pattern into the world. Are you ready? Cause it’s ready for you!
This Knit-Like Pouch simply uses the waistcoat stitch in 2 different colors, both in the round and in flat row. But don’t worry if you’ve never crocheted the waistcoat stitch before, I have a tutorial for you below. And the button in the front provides the extra “cherry” on the top needed to make it perfect. It sure makes the perfect make-up or notions pouch as a birthday, Mother’s Day, or even a Holiday gift.
So, let me now give you the supplies you need in order to crochet this Knit-Like Crochet Pouch pattern.
This pattern is also available as an ad-free, printer-friendly pdf pattern that can be purchased at the links below for only a small fee.
