This is pattern is part of the bonus set of the Apache Tears Winter Accessories Crochet Along. I have seen so many Apache Tears Hats,  Apache Tears Scarves  and Apache Tears Mittens already being posted as pictures in my Facebook group, it just makes me feel so grateful for all the participation and happiness I see I created with those patterns.

The Infinity Scarf is another super easy pattern. As long as you have the Apache Tears stitch pattern down, you should have absolutely no problem making this pattern.

This Crochet Along as you can probably tell already from the name, is all about the Apache Tears stitch, including the bonus patterns. I created a very thoroughly tutorial with many photos and 2 videos for this stitch. You will need this tutorial if you have never made it before. You can find it HERE.

    Final Sizes:

    Scarf: 33 x 5.5 in

    Gauge:

    4 sc x 3 rows = 1 square inch

    Instructions:

BE SURE TO SEE MY APACHE TEARS STITCH TUTORIAl. IF YOU HAVE NEVER MADE IT BEFORE. YOU CAN FIND IT HERE!

All starting chains are not counted and the first stitch of every round or row goes into the same stitch as the starting chain.

I created this pattern having the weather in mind where I live. So, this infinity scarf is more decorative than having it long enough to wrap it around the neck twice. So, if you like, just make the initial chainless foundation chain longer so the circle becomes larger. Just be sure to keep a multiple of 5 as that is what I used for the Apache Tears stitch.

    Start with the color Dublin

Row 1: Make a chainless foundation chain of 115 single crochets (or ch 116 and place 1 sc in each chain to have 115 sts), sl st to the first st (make sure to not twist the chain)

Round 2 – 3: ch 1, 1 sc in the BLO in every st, sl st to the first st

    Change color to Red

Round 4: ch 1, *1 sc in the BLO in the first 4 stitches, then crochet 1 tr down 3 rounds into the skipped front loop, skip 1 stitch (behind the tr) and repeat from * all around, then sl st to the first st

Round 5: ch 1, *1 tr 3 rounds down, sk 1 st, 4 sc in the BLO, repeat from *, sl st to the first st

Round 6: ch 1, 1 sc in the BLO, *1 tr 3 rounds down, sk 1 st, 4 sc in the BLO, repeat from *, the last 3 stitches are sc’s in the BLO, sl st to the first st

    Change color to White

Round 7: ch 1, 1 sc in the BLO in the next 2 stitches, *1 tr 3 rounds down, sk 1 st, 4 sc in the BLO, repeat from *, until the last 2 stitches which are 2 sc’s in the BLO, sl st to the first st

Round 8: ch 1, 1 sc in the BLO in the next 3 stitches, *1 tr 3 rounds down, sk 1 st, 4 sc in the BLO, repeat from *, until the last 3 stitches which are 3 sc’s in the BLO, sl st to the first st

Round 9: Ch 1, 1 sc in the BLO in the next 4 stitches, *1 tr 3 rounds down, sk 1 st, 4 sc in the BLO, repeat from *, sl st to the first st

    Change color to Dublin

    Round 10: repeat Round 5

    Round 11: repeat Round 6

    Round 12: repeat Round 7

    Change color to Red

    Round 13: repeat Round 8

    Round 14: repeat Round 9

    Round 15: repeat Round 5

    Change color to White

    Round 16: repeat Round 6

    Round 17: repeat Round 7

    Round 18: repeat Round 8

    Change color to Dublin

    Round 19: repeat Round 9

    Round 20: repeat Round 5

    Round 21: repeat Round 6

Fasten off and weave in the ends.

Now you are finished with the Apache Tears Infinity Scarf. I hope you enjoyed this pattern.
