This Apache Tears Crochet Pattern Collection used to be part of a Crochet Along (CAL) is all about Winter and Christmas patterns and was sponsored by Knit Picks. All crochet patterns are available for free or can be purchased as a collection or individually as a printer-friendly ad-free pdf.
Well, this Crochet Collection is different, because it has several patterns that all use the same stitch and combined will be a stylish winter clothing accessory set. There are in total 5 crochet patterns: a hat, a scarf, and a set of mittens, glittens, and an infinity scarf.

This Apache Tears Collection includes all FREE patterns, but you can also purchase the ad-free printer-friendly video ebook pdf collection below!
For this Crochet Pattern Collection, I used WeCrochet Brava yarn which is very affordable and super soft. I think this will be my go-to yarn now as it is so easy to work with. It is 100% acrylic.
Very importantly, check out my very detailed tutorial for the Apache Tears stitch pattern as we will use this pattern throughout the entire crochet pattern collection. The tutorial includes many pictures and 2 voice-over videos to show you exactly how to do this stitch flat or in a round.
Be sure to join my FACEBOOK GROUP, so you can see other’s making the same patterns as you and we can all help each other out in case someone needs help. It really is a wonderful place to be for any crochet help and support.

See what Angela, from my crochet group, said: “…Just today alone, I was speaking to a friend and mentioned this group to her because she’s having a hard time emotionally. I told her she needed to join so she can learn some cool crochet techniques and keep herself busy. You’re my first “go-to” group. Not only do you have some amazing ideas… But it’s you as a person that I can relate to. You’re kind, generous, and probably take things to heart more than you should (I do that too lol)… But you’re awesome! …”
How do you join your CAL? Not seeing the information…I would love to make these for my GD.. Thank you,
It is not like a direct “joining”. But it is best to be part of my Facebook group to share pictures and get help and get notified when the next part is available. So, I guess you would join my Facebook group (link above). Then I will share a link to the published pattern on Saturday morning. Let me know if you have more questions and need more help.
