This is a free stylish crown cowl crochet pattern made with simple basic crochet stitches. This is a great beginner pattern with a video tutorial.

The best way to stay warm in the wintertime is with accessories, like hats, mittens, and scarves. But sometimes a scarf is just too much and you still want to keep your neck warm. That is when you would use a cowl. It’s less fabric, but still stylish and warm. The Crown Cowl is perfect for this situation and is the 8th free crochet pattern of the Advent Calendar Mystery Crochet Along.

This warm gift pattern is the 8th pattern (December 8th) of the 24 patterns. It features a beautiful stitch combination which is called the crown stitch hench the name Crown Cowl. It’s easy yet super stylish. As the pattern features 2 colors the crown stitch really pops in this cowl pattern.

In fact, I even used this stitch for the Crown Hat pattern which is currently only in the ebook. They both together make the perfect winter accessory to stay warm. I can even see some fun fingerless gloves pattern with this stitch combination in the near future.

This pattern as all the patterns in this Advent Calendar Mystery Crochet Along comes with a video tutorial to guide you through the pattern.
