This Free Crochet Pattern is called the Christmas Gift Beanie as it looks like you’re wearing a Christmas gift or present on your head. It is such a cute and inventive idea that just makes me feel all kinds of Christmas feelings. This beanie is not only easy to crochet, and can 0be made into any beanie size needed for your or someone else’s head.
As you can see above me and my son are showing off the Christmas Gift Beanie very proudly. As it is made with worsted weighted yarn, it not only feels light, but also keeps you from over-heating, but still keeps you warm and snuggly during the winter weather.
Furthermore, the crochet pattern only uses easy and basic crochet stitches which make this beanie a beginner pattern that makes even the more experienced crocheter happy and jolly.

Row 8: 1 sc dec, 1 sc in each st until 7 sts left, ch 1, turn (24 sts)

Small piece to wrap around the bow:
Ch 10, then starting from the 2nd ch from the hook
Row 1 – 2: 1 sc in each st, ch 1, turn, fasten off after row 2, cut the end to be about half a foot long for sewing.
Fold the large piece to make it look like a bow, pinch the middle and sew together the end of the small piece. Fasten off and weave in the ends.
Sew it all together
First, sew the ribbon to the beanie across using green yarn. Finally, sew the bow to one of the crossing points or intersections of the green yarn stripes. Fasten off and weave in all the ends.
You’ve now finished the Christmas Gift Beanie. I hope you enjoy it!
