So, let me now give you the supplies you need in order to crochet this fun project.
Free Crochet Lily Pattern
Materials you will need
less than 1 skein per color
- WeCrochet Dishie Yarn (100% cotton, 190yd/100g)
- Bumblebee
- White
- Honeydew
- 4mm hook
- Human Blush Make Up and Makeup Brush
- 22 Gauge Wire and Pliers
- Floral Tape
- This set has floral tape, 22 gauge wires and pliers together
- 2 gauge wire
- scissors
- tapestry needle
- Hot glue
Gauge
4 sts x 4 rounds = 1 square inch
Size
about 12 inches tall
Stitches used in the pattern
Learn all the basic crochet stitches HERE (US crochet terms and abbreviations)
- st/sts = stitch/stitches
- ch = chain
- sk = skip
- sl st = slip stitch (or invisible sl st – see video)
- MR = magic ring (think loosened slip knot)
- inc = increase
- sc = single crochet
- hdc = half double crochet
- dc = double crochet
- tr = treble crochet
- dtr = double treble crochet
- ATC = Alternative Turning Chain
- BLO = back loop only
- FLO = front loop only
- inv sc dec (rounds) or regular sc dec (rows)

Crochet Lily- Written Instructions
Pattern Notes:
For continuous rounds, use a stitch marker unless otherwise mentioned.
If R has no “turn” mentioned, it’s a ROUND (if no sl st mentioned, it’s a continuous round), if it is mentioned, it’s a “ROW”.
I used hot glue in some places for the assembly of the flowers. In some cases you can sew it instead, in other places (like the lavender) glue is required or it will not work well. However, you could use different glue, I just prefer hot glue as it dries quickly.
You crochet around the 22 gauge wire.
2 gauge wire is the “stem” of the plants.
Pattern Instructions
WeCrochet Cotton Yarn
6 Petals
White, ch 15, start from the 2nd ch from the hook
R1: 1 sc in 5 sts, 1 hdc in 5 sts, 1 sc in 3 sts, 3 sc in 1 st, now work on the opposite side of the chain, 1 sc in 3 sts, 1 hdc in 5 sts, 1 sc in 5 sts, continuous rounds, use stitch marker
R2: cut wire about 25-30 inches, crochet around it, 1 sc in 5 sts, (1 hdc, 2 hdc) 3 times, 1 hdc, 1 sc in 2 sts, [1 sc, ch 3, sl st to the first ch, 1 sc] in the same st, 1 sc in 2 sts, (1 hdc, 2 hdc) 3 times, 1 hdc, 1 sc in 5 sts, sl st around both wire pieces (should be even in length, no need to weave in yarn, just fasten off and let it hang a few inches
Use blush makeup to add some pink to the bottom (wire end side) of the petal
5-6 Stamen
Cut 10 inches of wire, fold in half, attach the yellow yarn, ch 1, 3 sc, fasten off, now wrap the green (honeydew) yarn around the wire were the yellow finished, about 2-3 inches, fasten off with a knot, let yarn ends hang
2 Leaves
With Honeydew yarn, ch 10, start from the 2nd ch from the hook
R1: 1 sc in 8 sts, 3 sc in the same st, crochet on the opposite side of the chain, 1 sc in 8 sts, continuous rounds, use a stitch marker
Cut wire about 20 inches, crochet around the wire, 1 dc in 2 sts, 1 hdc, (1 dc, 2 dc) 3 times, [3 dc, ch 3, sl st to the first ch, 3 dc] in the same st, (2 dc, 1 dc,) 3 times, 1 hdc, 1 sc in 2 sts, fasten off, let yarn hang down
Assembly
Hold all the stamen together, add the 6 petals evenly around the stamen (typically it’s 3 petals on the top layer and 3 on the bottom), hold everything together and wrap the floral tap around the bottom of there the yarn ended and hangs down, wrap around that 1 inch area a few times, then cut the yarn ends to that area, then continue wrapping the floral tape for another 1-2 inches, then add a leaf to the section, continue wrapping for another 1 inch, cut yarn ends, continue wrapping for another 1 inch or so, add another leaf, wrap for another 1 inch, cut yarn ends, continue wrapping, bend bottom wires up ward a bit so they don’t poke out on the bottom, wrap until the end, and back up a bit, cut floral tape.
