Lavender Flower Crochet Pattern Video Tutorial
Before you start crocheting your Lavender Flower, I recommend watching the detailed tutorial video below
Crochet Lavender Flower – Written Instructions
Pattern Notes:
For continuous rounds, use a stitch marker unless otherwise mentioned.
If R has no “turn” mentioned, it’s a ROUND (if no sl st mentioned, it’s a continuous round), if it is mentioned, it’s a “ROW”.
I used hot glue in some places for the assembly of the flowers. In some cases you can sew it instead, in other places (like the lavender) glue is required or it will not work well. However, you could use different glue, I just prefer hot glue as it dries quickly.
You crochet around the 22 gauge wire.
2 gauge wire is the “stem” of the plants.
Pattern Instructions
Lavender
WeCrochet Brava – Freesia and Peapod (leaves)
Herrschners – Heathers
Flower
Pick one of the purple colors
Ch 25 (or 30 if you want it longer like the dark one in the picture), start from the 2nd ch from the hook, [1 sc, ch 2, 1 sc] in each ch, fasten off
3 Leaves per flower
Ch 10, crochet around the wire (bend), start from the 2nd ch from the hook, 1 sc into 8 chs, 3 sc in last ch, turn 180 degrees and crochet on the back side of the chain, 1 sc per ch, fasten off, leave 1-2 inches of yarn
Assembly
Using hot glue and a 2 gauge wire, add some glue around the top of the wire, then wrap the purple flower around it, keep adding glue 1 inch at the time. Once done, start adding floral tap and then add leaves where you want them, until the end. Shorten or bend the 2 gauge wire and wrap floral tape over it until you’re satisfied.
