Materials you will need
- Premier Anti-Pilling Everyday Worsted Yarn
- Cream or any other skein color
- Premier Minikins Sport Yarn
- Red
- 4.0mm hook
- optional: hot glue
- scissors
- tapestry needle
Gauge
4 sts x 4 rows = 1 square inch
Size
just the coaster itself: 3.5 inch diameter

- sc = single crochet
- sts = stitches
- ch = chain
- inc = increase
- dec = decrease

Coaster
(used worsted yarn)
First DC is an ATC (stacked sc) for any DC round
R1: MR, 8 dc, sl st
R2: 2 dc per st, sl st
R3: (1 dc, 2 dc) x 8, sl st
R4: (1 dc in 2 sts, 2 dc) x 8, sl st
R5: 1 sc per st, sl st, fasten off
Fingers are in worsted yarn
Pointy through Pinky Finger
R1: MR, 6 sc, close the hole, continuous rounds, use a stitch marker
Pinky Finger: R2-7: 1 sc per st, fasten off
Pointy and Ring Finger: R2-8: 1 sc per st, fasten off
Middle Finger: R2-9: 1 sc per st, fasten off
Thumb: R1: MR, 8 sc, close the ring, stitch marker, continuous rounds
R2-9: 1 sc per st, fasten off
Nails (red sport yarn)
Ch 3 (for pointy through pink finger), or Ch 4 (for Thumb), start from 2nd ch from the hook
R1-3: 1 sc per st, turn
R4: decrease over all sts, fasten off, weave in ends (if glueing onto the top of the fingers) or use ends to sew onto the top of the finger
Sew on the fingers to the last round of the coaster, make sure nails point downwards if they lay flat
