Even the foliage can get it on the Christmas fun with this cute crochet plant holder that uses the arrow stitch.
Today is the very last day of the Advent Calendar Mystery Crochet Along. I have been releasing one stitch tutorial on all odd days and one free pattern on all even days since December 1st. It has been a whirlwind of holiday magic and today we have one more yarny surprise in store for you.
Yesterday’s stitch tutorial covered the exciting arrow stitch. Today we’re putting that stitch into action to create a crochet plant holder that’s really going to upgrade your home decor! What festive colors will you choose for your creation?
There are so many cute ideas out there for plant hangers and pot cozies made with macrame, but you can use your crochet skills to get in on this trend too! All you need is some worsted weight yarn and a plant pot and you’re ready to spruce up a planter or two.
I made this design to fit a pot diameter of 5 or 6 inches, but you can easily add or subtract rounds from the base of the pattern to change the size. Speaking of customization, if you are looking for some different options to make your creation even more magical, you really can’t go wrong with some wooden beads or a cute tassel.
So let’s get started!
