Well, this filet crochet triangle shawl is not my first filet crochet pattern. (It’s not even my first filet crochet shawl pattern! Have you seen my stunning Rose Filet Crochet Shawl?

I have made many other filet crochet patterns, and lots of filet crochet video tutorials. As you will soon find out, filet crochet is just double crochet stitches and chains. That’s really it!

Free Written Pattern for the Bee Crochet Triangle Shawl

You’ll be crocheting 1 triangle shawl.

First dc stitch is always a ch3 or ATC, either of them are counted as a stitch!

IGNORE all the pink areas in the graph. You will NOT use those.

3DC Filet Crochet

Open mesh pixel (white – O) = ch 1, sk 1, 1 dc

Closed Mesh pixel (black – X)  = 1 dc in the next 2 sts

B = [1 ATC, ch 1, 1 dc]

E = ch 1, 1 dc in the same st as last dc

E.g. O3 means there are 3 white pixels, whereas just O means 1 white pixel
