Materials you will need
- 4.5 mm hook -> I used a Furls Crochet Metal Streamline Hook – use NICKI15 for 15% off
- Scissors
- tapestry needle
Gauge
4 sts x 3 rounds = 1 square inch
Size
7 inches in height (not measuring band), 4 inches diameter

- ch = chain
- sl st = slip stitch
- sc = single crochet
- dc = double crochet
- ldc = linked double crochet

Pattern Notes
First, you’ll start by crocheting in the round, working from the bottom up to create the bag portion of this pattern. Then you’ll finish by crocheting the strap.
Instructions for the Bottle Holder Bag
Start with a Magic Ring
R1: ch 1, add 7 sc to the ring, close the ring, and crochet in continuous rounds (use a stitch marker)
R2: 2 sc per st
R3: *1 sc, 2 sc in the next st, repeat from * all around
R4: *1 sc in the next 2 sts, 2 sc in the next st, repeat from * all around
R5: *1 sc in the next 3 sts, 2 sc in the next st, repeat from * all around
R6: *1 sc in the next 4 sts, 2 sc in the next st, repeat from * all around, sl st (no continuous round for R7 only)
R7: 1 sc in the 3rd loop behind the V, all around, sl st
R1-20: *[1 sc, 1 dc] in the same st, sk the next st, repeat from * until the end of the round
Now add the bag handle:
R1: ch2, 1 ldc in the next 5 sts, turn
Repeat R1 until the bag handle is long enough (mine is 36 inches long), sl st or sew the last row to the opposite side of where you started.
Fasten off and weave in your ends.
