Daisies are such happy flowers, aren’t they? They bring a sense of happiness and joy wherever they are seen. It is no wonder that they are one of the most popular flowers in the world.
Just the other day, my husband and I were driving through a rural area and we passed by this open field full of daisies. I was struck by how beautiful it looked and was instantly inspired to look up some crochet patterns featuring this cheerful flower.
Many of these crochet daisy patterns start with the magic ring or magic circle, use white yarn, a crochet hook, and many single crochet stitches (sc) or half double crochet (hdc). They also have some double crochet stitches (dc) or treble crochet stitches (tr) to create dimensions and more of a flower effect. Many of these crochet daisies are made as a granny square pattern from the center out.
Then these white flowers with a tiny bit of yellow yarn in the center are arranged to create blankets, garments, accessories, and even bags. Each written pattern is a free daisy crochet pattern filled with beautiful crochet flowers to create a cheerful smile for anyone who sees it.
Although personally, I haven’t designed my own cozy days daisy blanket pattern yet, I do hope this collection will inspire you as much as it does for me.
As it turns out, each crochet daisy pattern in this collection is quite a popular crochet flower pattern right now! I was surprised at all the lovely patterns out there.
