With Easter just around the corner, these Mini Easter Egg crochet Ornaments sure will make your home come alive. These ornaments can be easily crocheted using this free crochet pattern.

Growing up in Germany, I always had Easter branches or how we called them “Easter trees”. It was usually branches from fruit trees such as cherry trees. Once in a vase, we decorated them with as many Easter Egg Ornaments as possible.

Because I can’t seem to get the nice wooden easter ornaments here that I grew up with, I started making crochet ornaments of my own. As I still had some nice variegated cotton yarn, I really wanted to use it for this project. Although not much can be seen in the picture, but the white has a mild touch of green shining thru. It really is a nice color combination.

And the yarn itself is really nice as well. I will for sure use it again for other projects that require some thin fine yarn, although this is a DK weight yarn, it is ideal for small project such as these Mini Easter Egg Ornaments. The yarn is called Batik Design Alize Bella and I got it from Etsy.

These Easter Eggs can easily be made into earrings. I do that all the time with my mini creations. Perfect for Easter Sunday Brunch, don’t you think?
