I adore Toni’s crochet style. She revealed to me how she found her unique voice and crochet style.
She captured an audience of crochet beginners, she narrowed down her style to what appealed to them in terms of colors, style, and stitches.
Toni is a great teacher and she loves the excitement crochet beginners bring into her daily crochet life.
I was really shocked when Toni revealed which technique she only tried once and did not have the patience to learn! But there is always “next time”.
Toni calls herself a “math nerd” when it comes to crochet designing and enjoys the many ways you can create a crochet fabric with a hook.
We chatted about the variety of designers and what they specialize in. Toni loves the fact that each designer has their own specific thing they love to create.
Toni shares a funny story that happened when she went to a yarn show in New York and how she discovered Tunisian Crochet from a “ghost lady”.
Filled with excitement, Toni couldn’t wait to get home and started exploring this technique.
The lack of dedicated resources for learning Tunisian Crochet, Toni has decided to create her first video which has exploded.
She created a buzz around this technique and a lot of people wanted to learn.
Outside of the crochet world, Toni enjoys watching movies. Going to the theatre becomes her “break from the world”. Apart from that, she enjoys listening to audiobooks and riding her bike.
Toni remembers a shocking message she received from a lady after she released her book. However, she enjoys receiving messages and interacting with her audience.
She also reveals her least favorite part of running a business and how much it actually “hurts”.
Toni reveals her secret tips on how she gets professional-looking photos.
