Crocheting washcloths is best done with cotton yarn. To make it quicker, you can use Bulky Cotton Yarn. This review focuses on the best bulky cotton yarn mentioned in the Crafty Crochet Review Show.
I love crocheting washcloths for spa kits to give to my friends and family as gifts. But when the holidays come around, I need to make a lot of them in a short period of time. In order to speed up the process, I simply use bulky cotton yarn. But I’m a very picky yarn selector (is that word a thing? LOL). I don’t use just any bulky cotton yarn. It needs to be soft, durable and has bold and pretty colors.
Luckily, I found my winner when I first tried Billow yarn from WeCrochet. It comes in hanks and is for sure the softest bulky yarn I ever worked with. So snuggly I could make a blanket with it. It will be heavy, but super comfy.
Billow yarn is ideal for washcloths and dishcloths, but also great for hats, scarves, bags, and slippers.
To make it easier I created a complete video review about this amazing bulky cotton yarn – through the Crafty Crochet Review Show which is held every Friday at 12pm, PST on Youtube. You can sign up here for reminder emails.
