This is a free pattern for a diamond mosaic crochet scarf with fringe. Mosaic crochet is a beautiful way to add a design without having to switch back and forth between colors.
Crochet scarves are a wonderful way to express yourself and your style. Scarves can either be a way to keep warm on a cold winter day or they can be worn as an accompaniment to an evening dress. No matter how you wear your scarf, it’s sure to be one of the very first things a person will notice about your outfit.
Personally, I like to combine both function and fashion when wearing a crochet scarf. If I can look pretty AND stay warm, that is a winning crochet pattern in my book!
For this diamond mosaic crochet scarf, that is exactly what I had in mind. I wanted to be able to wear something that was eye-catching all while keeping that cold winter wind off my neck and face. The diamond pattern throughout this scarf pattern uses a variegated yarn to make them ‘pop’. I really love the end result.
