How to Crochet the Linked Crochet Pocket Shawl Pattern
Materials you will need
Gauge
4 lhdc x 2 rows = 1 square inch
Size
16.5 x 82 inches
Stitches used in the pattern

- sl st = slip stitch
- lhdc = linked half double crochet
- ltr = linked treble crochet

Free Written Pattern for the Linked Crochet Shawl Pattern
Notes: You can make the pocket shawl larger or smaller by simply changing the beginning stitch number and row count
CH 48+2
R1: using the 2nd, and 3rd ch from the hook, crochet your first LHDC, then 1 LDHC per st, turn
R2-168: ch 2, 1 LHDC per st, turn
Now, add 3 rows of LTR on each long side of the rectangle.
The first row is made by evenly adding 1 stitch per row.
For the 2 Pockets
Ch 27+3
R1: using the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th ch from the hook, crochet your first LTR, then 1 LTR per st, turn
R2-11: ch 3, 1 LTR per st, turn
Sew the pockets to the front of the shawl about 2.5 inches (or higher for shorter arms) from the short edge.
