If you’ve ever wanted to crochet something ridiculously cute without having to sew a bunch of tiny pieces together, this baby axolotl is your new best friend.

No-Sew Crochet Axolotl Amigurumi

I’ve been low-key obsessed with axolotls ever since I saw one at an aquarium a few years ago, and now they’re all over plushie shelves and crochet feeds.

But most patterns out there have like… seven parts and a lot of stitching. This one? It’s fast, fun, and beginner-friendly. If you can make a magic ring and handle a few decreases, you’ve totally got this.

So grab your favorite pastel yarn (or go wild with something rainbow and sparkly—I won’t judge), and let’s make a chonky little axolotl that’s full of personality and zero seams.

Craft Fair Bestseller

Made with soft super bulky chenille Cuddle Yarn and a 4.5mm hook, this crochet axolotl is squishy, beginner-friendly, and incredibly quick to work up.

I designed it to be no-sew, just like my popular Loaf Cat — because let’s be real, skipping the sewing step is a total game-changer!

This baby axolotl is a great option for craft fair sellers because it stands out on your market table, works up in under an hour or two, and is the perfect pattern to make again and again.

Plus, axolotls are super popular right now, so why not give the people what they want? They are even small enough to make into keychains if you want.

Anytime you need to crochet multiples of something, like for craft fairs or even for party favors, this cute crochet axolotl pattern would be a great choice.
