If there’s one thing I love more than a fast and fun crochet project, it’s one that doesn’t involve any sewing at all! After the huge success of my no-sew Leggy Froggy, I knew I had to create a tiny friend to join in — and that’s how the No-Sew Baby Turtle was born. He’s just as squishy, beginner-friendly, and crowd-pleasing, but with an adorable shell that’s impossible not to love.

Craft Fair Fan Favorite Baby Turtle
I used a mix of green and brown super bulky chenille Premier Parfait Chunky Yarn to give this baby turtle his signature look. The best part? You don’t need to sew a single part together. Everything is crocheted as you go, which means you’ll spend less time assembling and more time making. He works up quickly and is perfect for gifting, market prep, or even using up small amounts of leftover yarn.
This pattern was originally released as part of a Mystery Crochet Along (MCAL), and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Whether you’re making your first amigurumi or looking for a fast-selling craft fair item, this no-sew turtle will crawl right into your heart.
So grab your hook, and let’s get started!
