This cute crochet hook pattern has easy-to-follow instructions that use the No-Sew CROCHET technique and Super Bulky Chenille yarn. The free pattern includes 1 detailed video tutorial.
Our crochet hooks are there for us through thick and thin: every cozy blanket, every last-minute gift, every “just one more row” late night spent crocheting.
Even when we lose them in the couch cushions (again) they always find their way back to us. They’ve been with us for the all the highs and lows of crochet project and everything in between.
Honestly, I think it’s about time we have our favorite sidekick a little love!
That’s where this pattern comes in…

Amigurumi Crochet Hook Pattern
I designed a fun and quirky amigurumi crochet hook pattern that celebrates the tool we literally couldn’t create without. (Well ok, finger crocheting is a thing, but we mostly couldn’t live without our hooks!)
Made with super bulky yarn weight #6 chenille yarn and a 4.5mm hook, this crochet project is soft, squishy, and way too cute to resist.
Whether you make it as a desk buddy, an adorable keychain, or just a little yarny mascot for your craft station, this hook plushie is sure to make you smile.
This is a great project for a crochet beginner because it uses just basic stitches and there is a helpful video tutorial if you need an extra visual.
I love the idea of honoring the simple crochet hook in yarn form, and I hope you’ll enjoy stitching it up as much as I did designing it. Now let’s pay homage to our favorite tool, one stitch at a time!
