Instructions for the Overlay Mosaic Crochet Method
Before you start crocheting the Gnome Door Stopper and the Zipper Pouch, (only ONE of these two will get published for FREE tomorrow via the Advent Calendar MCAL), let’s first go through the stitch tutorial and learn how to crochet this stitch.
Instructions:
To make a swatch to practice this stitch, make a chain with a multiple of 14 plus 1, start from the 2nd chain from the hook, crochet 1 sc per st.
Cut yarn after each row (for rounds drop the yarn after each color change – which is every round).
Always start on the same stitch. So for the righties start on the right.
Odd rows = Color A
Even rows = Color B
Below you will have the graph on the right in a written format from rows 1 through 30 (then it repeats starting row 3)
