This is a free pattern for a mosaic crochet shoulder bag with options to add a lining, zipper, and leather shoulder strap.
I was shopping for a new shoulder bag recently and I just couldn’t find anything that I liked! Either they were too big or too small. Some of them just didn’t sit right on me. So I decided to go home and pick up my crochet hook and make one that would be perfect for me.
This mosaic crochet shoulder bag is the result. I just love the simplicity of the shape. The size is perfect for the things I need to carry when I leave the house. And the design! I love the beautiful mosaic crochet design on this bag. The best part is I get compliments every time I go out with it.
You can crochet this mosaic shoulder bag and use it as is OR you can add in a lining and zipper to keep all of your things more secure. I chose to add in the lining and zipper and really love the end result.

Optionally add a lining with a zipper which you can learn here.
I also used fabric to add loops on the side to attach the leather strap. This part can also be crocheted.
