This is one C2C crochet pattern you don’t want to miss – a red pillow with a big white bow is the perfect festive and functional throw pillow for your couch during Christmas.
We’ve made it to the halfway point of the Advent Calendar Mystery Crochet Along. Today marks the 12th day of this fun and festive event where I release a pattern or a stitch tutorial every day from the 1st of December until Christmas Eve!
Yesterday we learned all about the stunning C2C crochet technique. Let’s use those newfound skills to whip up a stunning Christmas throw pillow. This is a great first project if you are new to the C2C crochet pattern scene, as there are only 2 colors.
There’s nothing quite like seeing all the pretty presents wrapped up underneath the Christmas tree. Luckily, this present throw pillow will never be unwrapped so you can enjoy it forever.
Experienced C2C crocheters and newbies alike are sure to enjoy this easy and fun corner to corner crochet pattern. The design comes together with just 3 rectangles and 2 colors of yarn, so there are minimal color changes.
So let’s get started!

Now create 2 rectangles for the bow
All in white
The smaller one is 5 x 10 pixels.
And the larger one is 35 x 7 pixels.
Assembly
Fold the present pillow piece (multi-colored) in half to make a square. Sew the sides together and add a pillow insert before you sew the last side together.
Now fold the larger of the white rectangles such that the shorter edges touch in the middle. Sew them together.
Now fold the tiny white piece around it and “crunch” up the large folded piece and sew the little piece’s short edges together.
Finally, sew the bow to the front of one of the X’s.
