This pretty Snowman Head Tissue Box Cover is a free crochet pattern and is made using simple basic crochet stitches and the worsted weighted Brava yarn by WeCrochet. The tissues are pulled out of the top hat.
Now that it’s wintertime, it’s snowing in many places, especially up north in the colder regions. As I live in Southern California, I’ll have to drive about an hour or so to be in the snow in the mountains. But as much as I miss snow falling when looking through the window while crocheting in front of the fire, I can simply make myself a cute Snowman and will instantly feel like it’s wintertime. You know while it’s 70F outside in SoCal. LOL
Crocheting Tissue Box Covers
One of the easiest and most fun patterns I love to design are tissue box covers. You can literally make them in any shape or form. They can display animals, objects, people or traditional things.
I’ve designed many tissue box cover patterns in the last few years. And I’m not about to stop with them. In fact, I plan on creating many, many more, until I can create a whole digital video ebook. I’ll see if I can get it done this year…
Crocheting Snowmen
As it’s wintertime, I thought it would be appropriate to crochet a cute snowman head as a tissue box cover. In fact, you can easily change up this pattern to make it work for you. You can make the top hat bigger or smaller. Add buttons instead of crocheted eyes and add a plastic nose instead of a crocheted nose. Feel free to even add a scarf if that is what you like.
Regardless of whether you follow the pattern exactly, I do have a video tutorial for you. And I know yours will be just as cute as mine. I can’t wait to see yours.
Best Yarn for Tissue Box Cover Crochet Patterns
Although you can crochet tissue box covers using any yarn you wish, I have 2 favorite types that I use all the time. I either use acrylic or cotton. You can substitute the yarn to any other yarn you wish as long as you stitch within the yarn weight and the measurements provided for the tissue box cover.
So, let me now give you the supplies you need in order to crochet this cute Snowman Head Tissue Box Cover pattern.
