- Red Heart Super Saver (198g/364yd)
- White (2 skeins)
- Cherry Red (2 skeins)
- Thyme (2 skeins)
- Scissors
- 5.0mm hook
- tapestry needles

- ch = chain
- sc = single crochet
- dc = double crochet
- FPDC = front post double crochet
- BPDC = back post double crochet
- wst = waistcoat stitch
- sl st = slip stitch

Notes
The table runner consists of 14 white, 8 red and 23 thyme granny squares.
General pattern for granny square:
R1: MR, Ch 3, 2 dc, Ch 2, 3 dc, Ch 2, 3 dc, Ch 2, 3 dc, Ch 2, sl st to 3rd chain of the beginning chain, pull yarn in the middle to close the magic ring
R2: Ch 3, 2 dc in the space before the ch 3, ch 1, [3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc] in each corner, [3 dc, ch 2] in the last corner, sl st to the 3rd chain of the beginning chain
R3-5: Ch 3, 2 dc in the space before the ch 3, ch 1, * 3 dc in the next ch-space, ch 1, [3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc] in the corner, repeat from * all around, in the last corner place [3 dc, ch 2], sl st to the 3rd chain of the beginning chain.
The granny squares are connected by the join-as-you-go method. 3 squares per row.
Green Granny Square has 4 rounds, then the 5th round is 3 white edges, 1 red edge. Round 5 is done with join-as-you-go after the first square is done fully, aka starting from the 2nd square.
Red Granny Square has 5 rounds.
White Granny Square has 5 rounds.
ONCE ALL squares are connected, you’ll add 1 round of granny stitches in white ALL around
Add 7 white tassels per short edge.
Crochet the Stars, Snowflake and Berries separately to be sewn on after done.
Stars: 16 white and 7 red
R1: Make a magic ring, ch 1, add to the ring this repeat 5 times: 2 sc’s, ch 1, sl st
R2: *ch3, 1 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, sk 1 st, 1 hdc in the next st, sl st to the next ch sp that was created during round 1, repeat from * a total of 5 times, sl st to the 1st st, fasten off.

Berries: make 42
R1: MR, ch 1, add 8 sc, close ring (so sl st’s)
R2: 1 sc in each st (8 sts)
R3: 1 sc dec 4 times, sl st to the 1st st of that round, fasten off

Ch 9, starting from the 2nd ch from the hook:
R1: all the following stitches go into the back bump of the chains: sc, sc, hdc, hdc, dc, dc, hdc, sc; now you will on the opposite side of the chain, all the following stitches go into the BLO: sc, hdc, dc, dc, hdc, hdc, sc, sc (no sl st)
R2: ch 1, [1 sc, ch 3, 1 sc] into the 1st sc, sl st into the next 2 sts, [1 sc, ch 3, 1 sc] into the next st, sl st into the next st, [1 sc, ch 3, 1 sc] into the next st, sl st into the next st, [1 sc, ch 3, 1 sc] into the next st, [1 sc, ch 3, 1 sc] into the next st, sl st into the next st, [1 sc, ch 3, 1 sc] into the next st, sl st into the next st, [1 sc, ch 3, 1 sc] into the next st, sl st into the next 2 st, [1 sc, ch 3, 1 sc] into the next st, sl st to the 1st st, fasten and and weave in the ends.
Snowflake: make 8
First DC is an ATC
R1: MR, 12 dc, close the ring, sl st
For the chains, always sk the first ch from the hook, so start from 2nd ch from the hook
R2: (ch 5, 1 sl st in 2 chs, ch 5, 1 sl st in 2 chs, ch 3, 1 sl st in 2 chs, ch 3, 1 sl st in 2 chs, 1 sl st in 2 chs (from the main center section), ch 3, 1 sl st in 2 chs, 1 sl st in 2 chs (from the main center section), sl st to the st in the circle, 1-2 sc in the next st, 1 sl st to the next st) x 6, fasten off
Assembly:

All red squares get 1 snowflake.
The outer green squares get 1 white stare. The inner green squares get 1 red star.
The white squares get 4 leaves and 3 berries.
