Crochet Bee Slap Bracelet and Pin Cushion – FREE Pattern!

This fun and cute crochet bee slap bracelet doubles as a cute accessory and a pin cushion to keep your pins handy, right on your wrist. Even a beginner crocheter can create this unique and adorable gift!
So far, we’ve had so much fun with the 2023 Advent Calendar Mystery Crochet Along, and today the fun continues with a fourth free pattern. Each day, from December 1st until December 24th, I’ll release one amazing free pattern for last-minute gifts right here on my blog. Make sure you check back every day to discover a new surprise!
Pattern number four is a super fun project that’s also useful. These sweet little bracelets make the perfect gift for someone who sews, as the little bee can be used as a pin cushion. That way, they can keep their pins organized and close at hand. Even the wings are functional, as they stick together with Velcro to hold a small pair of sewing scissors. You can also attach the bee using Velcro so you can easily remove it if desired.
For the bracelet part, a single crochet sleeve encloses a plastic slap bracelet, which makes it easy to put on or take off. This would also make a great gift for former 80s and 90s kids who will enjoy the nostalgia of this retro fashion accessory.
Of course, you can customize this pin cushion bracelet however you like to personalize your gift. Try using different colors, like pink yarn instead of lime, or any color your recipient prefers. Or you could experiment with yarn weights and hook sizes to change the size of the bee. The possibilities are only limited by your imagination!
This pattern is also super versatile, as both the crochet bee pattern and the bracelet pattern work on their own, too. You could make bee by itself as a Christmas ornament or small amigurumi. Or crochet a whole set of slap bracelets in all of your loved one’s favorite colors. Both would also work great as stocking stuffers.
