This is a free Reversible Bee Crochet Pattern made with single crochet only, as well as worsted yarn. The Pattern includes a companion video tutorial.

Crochet amigurumi bees are trending. No matter where I look I see a bee or a new be pattern. They are cute and so adorable and actually very easy to make. But as with all my patterns, I like to add a little twist to my pattern that makes the final product unique and special.

This crochet bee is reversible. So you’ll get 2 crochet bee’s in 1, so a 2-in-1 bee. I love the idea so much. It’s unique but also comes with a special feature and functionality in mind.

Some people, especially younger kids may have trouble talking or expressing their feelings. This bee, or many if you make lots of them with a different emotion, can help them express themselves visually with a bee without using their words. And of course, it’s also for kids who are too young to speak and can learn emotions using this bee instead of just pictures and words.

In fact, I got inspired to make this bee due to a viral TikTok video where I saw a woman on her period hiding under the covers and using a plush octopus with a happy and sad face to tell her husband how she feels. He in turn provides her with her favorite foods when she is not happy. LOL So sweet.

So whatever your reason is for making this cute bee, the pattern is here for you to make it and enjoy it. And it even includes a companion video tutorial to cover all the parts that may be challenging for some.

Finishing the Reversible Bee Amigurumi

Now stuff 1 of the bee bodies about 3/4 with polyfill. Flip the other body inside out and stuff it into the first body with the polyfill such that the wings aline. Watch the video for a better demonstration of this.

Then sew the last rounds of each body together by going through both stitches back and forth like a snake. Fasten off and weave in your ends.
