This is a free elegant coin purse crochet pattern made with simple basic crochet stitches. This is a great beginner pattern with a video tutorial.
I love coin purses. They are traditional, elegant, and very very handy for more than just coins. Personally, I love using them to store my notions so I can bring them with me on the go. But of course, they are also great for just coins. This pattern is the 9th free crochet pattern of the Advent Calendar Mystery Crochet Along.
This elegant and handy gift pattern is the 14th pattern (December 14th) of the 24 patterns. It features a metal coin purse frame that is sewn onto a cotton crochet bag. A coin purse pattern is much easier crocheted than you might think.
This pattern as all the patterns in this Advent Calendar Mystery Crochet Along comes with a video tutorial to guide you through the pattern. This pattern’s yarn is 24/7 Cotton Yarn and was provided by Lion Brand Yarns.

R2: 2 sc per st
R3: *1 sc, 2 sc in the next st, repeat from * all around
R4: *1 sc in the first 2 sts, 2 sc in the next st, repeat from * all around
R5: *1 sc in the first 3 sts, 2 sc in the next st, repeat from * all around, finish with an invisible slip stitch as you’re now crocheting in non-continuous rounds
