It is a super quick project that you can whip up in no time at all. These crochet fingerless gloves also do not use much yarn at all. They are a great stash-busting project for using up the leftovers from another project perhaps.
Or show someone you care by making this as a lovely Valentine’s Day gift. However, it does not have to be only on this day. These fingerless gloves would make a lovely gift any day of the year.
Crochet Heart Fingerless Gloves Design
This pattern is so cute and perfect for pretty much anyone. It uses corner to corner crochet technique which is super popular. Once you follow a good tutorial that shows you the basics, the possibilities on how to use it are endless.
I have put together a detailed tutorial HOW TO DO THE CORNER-TO-CORNER AKA C2C – CROCHET TUTORIAL. It takes you through this fun technique step by step.
I used Premier Anti-Pilling Everyday Wrosted yarn, but you could use any other yarn. Just be aware you may have to use a smaller or larger hook (depending on which yarn you pick).
However, if you use worsted weighted yarn you would need to change hook sizes and should be fine. Aren’t these gloves cute? 🙂

How to Crochet Heart Fingerless Gloves
Materials needed
- 5.0mm hook
- Premier Everyday Anti-Pilling Yarn in the color toasted marshmallow(cream or linen would work since the original color has since been discontinued)
- scissors
- tapestry needle
Written Instructions for Crochet Heart Fingerless Gloves
Make 2 of everything below.
This pattern uses the C2C stitch (Corner to corner) by using dc’s. If you have never done a C2C I highly recommend you watch the video tutorial below.
Using 1 color and dc, make a C2C square of 9×9 squares/tiles.
Fasten off, leaving long yarn tail, fold the square in half and sew the side together leaving an opening for the thumb as the picture shows (2 squares sewn together, 2 squares left alone (where my thumb is) and the last squares sewn together).
Sew a mini heart onto the fingerless gloves.
The pattern for the small heart is available free on my website. It can be made by following this small heart pattern from the Small Heart Keychain pattern.
If you prefer you can also leave the gloves as they are. They would make a lovely gift or an item you could sell on your craft stall.
