This is a free crochet piggy bank that uses an empty tissue box. It is a cute way to reuse your empty tissue boxes. It is perfect for a child’s bedroom.

OMG, this Crochet Piggy Bank Tissue Box was so fun and fast to create. I came up with the idea when I had my last allergy attack and ran out of tissues.

Why throw the empty tissue box away? Why not reuse it?

So, I did. I reused it and made it into a Crochet Piggy Bank. How fun?!

Did you see my funny and entertaining video on how I came up with the idea and how I made this Piggy Bank Tissue Box?

It is hilarious. This is the first video that I actually appear on. I thought you might like that:-)

Sewing your crochet piggy bank all together:

Flip the big box cover inside out and put it over the tissue box. Now lay the top panel on top and sew them together by using 3 sts from the “loop” to 1 st of the panel on the corners. Having the tissue box inside makes the sewing together easier.

Now add the tail by sewing or tying and weaving in the ends.

First attach the nostrils by attaching the 10mm “safety eyes”, then add the nose by sewing it to the front and stuffing it with polyfill right before it is all sewn on. Next attach the eyes using the 12mm “safety eyes”.
