Materials you will need
- 4mm hook – I used the WeCrochet Dots Hook
- scissors
- tapestry needle
- Premier Cotton Sprout Yarn (100% Cotton, Worsted, 180 yds/100g)
- 1 skein of white
- Bell (optionally) you can get here
Gauge
4 sc sts x 5 sc rounds = 1 square inch
Size
3.5 x 2 inches

R1: MR, ch 1, 6 sc, sl st to the first st
R2: (2 sc, ch 2, sk 1) 3 times, sl st to the first st
R3: start in ch-2 space, (3 sc into ch-2 space, ch 2) 3 times, sl st to the first st
R4: start in ch-2 space, (4 sc into ch-2 space, ch 2) 3 times, sl st to the first st
R5: start in ch-2 space, (4 sc into ch-2 space, ch 3) 3 times, sl st to the first st
R6: start in ch-3 space, (4 sc into ch-3 space, ch 3) 3 times, sl st to the first st
R7: start in ch-3 space, ((2 sc, ch 1, 2 sc) in ch-3 space, ch 1, sk 1, 1 sc in 2 sts, ch 1, sk 1) 3 times, sl st to the first st
R8: start in ch-1 space, (2 sc into ch-1 space, ch 1) 9 times, sl st to the first s
R9: start in ch-1 space, ((into ch-1 space, 2 sc, ch 3, sl st to the 1st ch, 1 sc), ch 1) 9 times, sl st to the first st, fasten off.
Optionally, add a bell on the inside.
AND optionally, you can harden the bell ornament with a glue-water mixture (about 5:1 ratio) or starch.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
