Outside Instructions
Once you are finished with the center, crochet 1 round of single crochet stitches in dark blue all around (evenly on the sides where the row edges are). Try to have an multiple of 4 in regards to the stitch count as that will help you create an even candy cane border.
Finally, add the candy cane border skipping a stitch after each color change. If you have never made the candy cane border before, check out the FULL instructions and video here.
You will use the white and light blue yarn, single crochet one at a time (skip a stitch in between) and then chain 4. Switch colors (put hook on the other color) and sc and then chain 4. The corners get both colors into the same stitch.
Now, fasten off and weave in your ends.
Once you are done, grab a bar of soap and start washing! Or you can gift, sell or donate this pretty cute little Polar Bear Washcloth.
Some might say this washcloth looks like a cat washcloth. I love that. Simply switch out the colors and make it look like a cat.
