Learn all about this soft bamboo sport yarn from WeCrochet called Galileo yarn. This yarn was mentioned during the Crafty Crochet Review Show.
It’s getting warmer outside and almost feels like summer. It’s time to put away the bulky yarn and pull out the lighter and thinner yarn for garments, and lightweight shawls and scarves. But if you are anything like me you want to make sure you use yarn that is also soft. I’m not a fan of scratchy yarn. You can also call me a picky yarn chooser. LOL
Well, this WeCrochet Yarn called Galileo not only has an interesting name but is super soft and almost didn’t realize it was a number #2, sport weight yarn. It contains 50% Merino Wool and 50% Viscose from Bamboo, making it soft and also easy to work with.
I would definitely recommend you check it out and try using it for garments, such as light summer cardigans, pretty, light-weight shawls or summer scarves for romantic evenings.
To make it easier I created a complete video review and tutorial on how the yarn looks close up and how it works up – through the Crafty Crochet Review Show which is held every Friday at 12pm, PST on Youtube. See the video below. You can sign up here for reminder emails.
