Welcome back to the Advent Calendar Mystery Crochet Along. Today is day 16 of our 24 day long celebration where I release one stitch tutorial on all odd days and one free pattern on all even days for Christmas gifts right here on my blog. Each day will be a fun holiday surprise for yarn lovers!

If you want to make this cute crochet snowman, then be sure to check out yesterday’s Treble Filet Crochet stitch tutorial first. The post will walk you through how to crochet the treble filet crochet stitch step-by-step so you’re ready to rock today’s frosty project.

Crochet Snowman Market Bag Pattern - standard pin

Worsted weight yarn and the mesh fabric created by the treble filet crochet technique makes this crochet snowman project go by quickly. You can crochet these cute market bags so fast that you could probably make one for yourself and one to give away to a friend too.

The project involves minimal sewing since the pouch and the bag are all one piece. All you need to do to complete the snowman pattern is to attach the snowman’s eyes, nose, mouth, and hat.

So let’s get started!
