This is a free cable Tunisian crochet baby blanket pattern. Use this as a pretty lap blanket or gift it as a baby blanket.
I love making baby blankets. Their small size makes them an easy project to commit to instead of working on a huge afghan for (what seems like) weeks on end. Whether you’re running short on time or you have commitment issues (LOL), I really think you’re going to enjoy working on this lovely blanket.
This simple and classy Tunisian crochet baby blanket is a beautiful accessory no matter where you decide to display it. Because of its small size, this can easily double as a lap blanket as well. Use this blanket anywhere in your home, and gift it as a wedding shower gift or a baby shower gift.
Additionally, the large rows of cables on this cable crochet blanket add a lovely texture. I’ve included a color-coded graph to make it easy to know when/where you will create the cable stitches.

Once you’re done with the blanket, add 4 rounds of moss stitch as the border.
Add 1 extra stitch per round per corner, so it won’t curl. Block the blanket if needed.
