Looking for a fun new crochet project? This free crochet Kindle cover pattern uses the eye-catching tinsel stitch for a textured, modern look.
Another year, another amazing Advent Calendar Mystery Crochet Along. This year, we’re celebrating every day until December 24th with 8 stitch tutorials, 8 new free patterns, and 8 giveaway days with prizes galore.
Today’s early Christmas present to you is free pattern number 6. This free crochet Kindle cover pattern is here to give your e-reader a cozy, textured home with a stitch that refuses to be boring. (Scroll down to see some of the patterns already released!)
Hopefully you saw yesterday’s post about the Tinsel Stitch, but if not, be sure to check that out first. The tinsel stitch brings a subtle sparkle and tons of visual interest, turning a practical project into something you actually want to show off.

This crochet Kindle cover works up faster than you’d expect and the stitch pattern is so satisfying that you’ll probably find yourself saying “just one more row”.
The fabric is dense enough to protect your screen, but still flexible and soft in your hands. Whether you’re crocheting for yourself or whipping one up as a last-minute handmade gift, this pattern hits that sweet spot between functional and fun.
If you love crochet projects that feel modern, giftable, and a little bit extra, you’re going to have a great time with this one. Grab your hook, pick a yarn with a bit of personality, and let the tinsel stitch do its thing. Your Kindle is about to glow up.
