Free Crochet Cow Squish Pattern

This adorable amigurumi Cow Squish free crochet pattern features many crochet tips, such that even a beginner can crochet it. This free crochet pattern is made with acrylic worsted-weight yarn.
Have you seen all of these adorable squishes in the crochet community? Many makers are crocheting them for their next Craft Fair or Market. The amazing thing about these squish amigurumis is that they have no arms, just a pill-like body as a head with face and head features like ears and horns.
Although I designed this cow squish pattern with worsted yarn (acrylic) you can easily crochet this bigger or smaller with bulky, super bulky, and even dk or thinner yarn. Furthermore, if you want this cow squish to be even more snuggly, I recommend crocheting it in fluffy polyester yarn. For babies, I recommend cotton yarn instead.
If you prefer making this pattern reversible, check out this modification for a Free Crochet Reversible Cat Cow Squish Pattern.
This pattern used to be a mystery crochet along and is broken up like that accordingly.
It’s time to get creative, so let’s get started!

Written Pattern Notes
Keep in mind, that this pattern used to be a Mystery CAL, and therefore the pattern is broken up as such.
You will first crochet the body, then all the face and head pieces which you then sew on.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
To make the pattern easier to read, I wrote each stitch without mentioning sc. So for example:
- ALL stitches are single crochet.
- 2w means 1 sc In the next 2 sc stitches, both are in the color white.
- 2w x 4 means crochet 2 white sc stitches in each of the next 4 stitches.
- (1w, 2w) x 4 means crochet 1 white sc in 1 st, 2 white sc in the next st, and repeat from * 3 more times (4 times in total)
- 1w inv dec means 1 invisible single crochet decrease in white
